Celebrating Innovative Young African Entreprenuers
Dina Mohamed Ibrahim
While at university in Beni Suef, Dina struggled to find a place to study, as
she was from another city. By chatting to fellow students who were also
from out of town, Dina soon realized this was a common problem. The
solution? Metro Co-Working Space, which she co-founded with friends to
offer affordable working spaces for students and young entrepreneurs.
However, Dina soon realized that her customers needed additional services:
some were regularly traveling to Cairo for various professional trainings.
Dina and her team saw the opportunity to host trainings and events to
advance Metro into a more meaningful business hub. Similarly, Dina has
helped members of the Metro community with funding, marketing and by
creating a community of support.
Dina’s vision is to expand Metro’s co-working model to additional locations
and provide additional support to entrepreneurs.
