Victoria Olimatunde

Victoria saw a looming problem in her community: rising unemployment,
even among educated young people. What’s more, few youth had a working
understanding of how to manage their personal finances. She was only
13 when she devised an innovative solution: a board game that teaches
students financial literacy. BizKidz features topics such as savings, money
management and the principles of starting a small business. Victoria and
her teammates visit schools across Nigeria to market their product and
have sold over 5,000 games since 2015.
The young founder sees a bright future ahead for BizKidz and is confident
that its impact on financial education can extend well beyond her local
communities.Victoria envisions BizKidz expanding into a mobile application
to increase its reach. She is constantly working on improving her product,
and conducts a significant number of tests with schools using BizKidz to
determine how it can be enhanced.
