Celebrating Innovative Young African Entreprenuers
Maemu Lambani
Thiofhi was first exposed to Facebook when she was 12 – and fell in love.
She soon started running accounts for friends in her village who lacked any
access to the internet. Six years later, Thiofhi realized that her love of social
media could actually be used to benefit her community, aiding businesses
to reach their financial goals. She founded Fearless Trendz to turn local
businesses into global brands.
Based in rural Limpopo, Fearless Trendz serves a local customer base that
has little technological knowledge. Thiofhi and her team offer specialized
digital services that include graphic and web design, social media
development, and branding work. Her happy customers testify to the large
impact her firm has had on their growth.
Thiofhi’s dream for is to grow Trendz into Africa’s largest digital marketing
agency. She has invested in the firm, purchasing equipment and hiring more
employees. Thiofi already sees herself as a role model for young women; as
her success grows, she is excited to increase her impact on the community.
